Varkaneh (Persian: وركانه‎, also Romanized as Varkāneh) is a village in Alvandkuh-e Sharqi Rural District, in the Central District of Hamadan County, Hamadan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 848, in 196 families. This village has some historical point, but the most important feature of the village is very nice and clean weather and very peaceful atmosphere. the village had made by stones,houses,roads,water bed and all of things, however recently they using new building techniques but they making stoning facades for buildings.the only thing bother you is that the village doesn't have any facility for tourists. even for the local people. the people of village take water from the spring and their water pipes just works only 1 hour per day.bakery for bread works 3 hours in the morning. its probably because of their small population.narrow roads is another problem for driving there .the people have a hard life there, professor Moosivand the first inventor of artificial heart in the world has born in this village and...
