Reg Gogd is one of the old and spectacular buildings of Golpayegan city in Isfahan province. This citadel is located five kilometers from the Golpayegan road to Tehran and in a city called Gogd (one of the cities of Golpayegan). This citadel, which has been used as a caravanserai in times of peace and as a military fortress during times of war or attacks by evildoers, is located in Ayatollah Golpaygani street, Kuche Qala, and currently this building is used as a traditional three-star hotel. This valuable building is currently deeded in the name of Arg Salar Golpayegan Company, which is also registered in the national monuments of the country.

Gogd Castle belongs to the Zand-Qajar period and is located in Gogd, Ayatollah Golpaygiani Street, Arg Street, and this work was registered as one of the national works of Iran on 11th of Bahman 1378 with registration number 2574.

The only written document that exists about this building belongs to 130 years ago, which certifies that a person named Alikhan gave half of the citadel to his wife as a dowry, and henceforth this historical building was called Alikhani Citadel. .

هتل ارگ گوگد، درواقع هرچیزی هست الا هتل. میشه گفت یه مسافرخونه کرکثیف درجه چنده. چیزی به اسم پارکینگ وجود نداره. شما ماشینو "دم در" پارک میکنید. البته به همین راحتی هم نیست چون اینجا کلی بازدید کننده متفزقه داره و باید کلی منتظر باشید که توی "دم در" یه جا پارک پیدا کنید. وارد اتاقها که میشی تازه به عمق فاجعه پی میبرید. اتاقهای طبقه اول از اول صبح تا ۱۲-۱ شب در معرض رفت و آمد و سر و صداست. دیوارها و در و پنجره عایق نیست و بازدیدکننده‌ها مدام جلوی پنجره اتاقتون که شما توش خواب هستید تردد دارن و با سروصداشون روح و روان شما رو خراش میدن. در طول ۱ شب اقامت من در این به اصطلاح هتل، به دفعات بچه‌های بازدیدکننده ها رو در و پنجره اتاقم میزدن ومن نتونستم ۱ ساعت راحت بخوابم. توی حیاط همیشه پره از بازدیدکننده و بچه ها دائم درحال توپ بازی و گرگم به هوا و جیغ و خنده هستن، اونم در فاصله چند قدمی جایی که شما میخواهید بخوابید. از لحاظ امنیت به هیچ وجه قابل اطمینان نیست. چون چفت و بست درست و حسابی نداره و دائما افراد مختلف میان و میرن و اگه کسی بخواد به راحتی میتونه بیاد داخل اتاقتون و اشیای قیمتی‌تون رو برداره بره. سرویس بهداشتی تهویه نداره و اگه از حموم استفاده کنید و یا از توالت، مخلوطی از بخار و بوی تعفن وارد فضای اتاقتون خواهد شد. اتاق و محوطه و حتی لابی پره از مگس!!! اسپیلت خرابه و آوردن تو اتاق من بخاری برقی گذاشتن برای گرمایش. از ساعت ۶ بعد از ظهر تا ۱۱ شب دو نفر تو قهوه‌خونه دارن ویولن و تمبک میزنن و موزیک کاباره‌ای مینوازن و بوی قلیون به مشام میرسه. داخل این قهوه خونه به معنای واقعی کلمه سگ میزنه و گربه میرقصه. یه قوری چایی سفارش دادم بعد از نیم ساعت یه قولاخ قلیون به دست اومده وایستاده بالای سر ما( به اتفاق خانواده) و قلیونش رو گذاشته روی میز ما و داره با صدای بلندبا مسئول اونجا شوخی و هرهرکرکر میکنه. انگار نه انگار ملت با زن و بچه نشستن. که البته من فوری اونجا رو ترک کردم چون نه تنها جای خیلی داغونیه بسیار کثیف و بدبو هم هست. خلاصه بگم گلپایگان شهر بسیار زیبا با مردم خیلی خوبیه پیشنهاد من اینه برید توی یه پارک چادر بزنید یا هر جای دیگه‌ای برید به جز اینجا....
