A fascinating view of Abr Jungle. Abr means cloud in Farsi. I shall introduce you one of the most important places in the world where you should travel to see and enjoy. Alborz range in Iran is located in the northern part of the country. The Alborz highest mountain is Damavand with 5,671 metres in height. Hyrcanian mixed forests lie from the easternmost to the westernmost point of Alborz range. Throughout Alborz range, between southern side of Caspian sea from Turkmenistan to Azerbaijan Republic, we can observe a majestic nature which is still intact regardless of ancient history. The jungle belongs to Cenozoic era. Shahrood and Damghan, two cities with more than 7,000 years of history, are situated in the border of southern skirt of Damavand range and Kavir desert. The ancient name of this place is Qumis, where is in the middle of the Silk Road. You can access the jungle from these two cities easily. Why people named it Abr? Because of the fact that most of the time clouds stand over the jungle. Thus, there is no distance between clouds and earth. In fact, the Alborz range behaves like a wall so that clouds can not move from North to South or from Caspian sea to Kavir desert. جنگل هیرکانی ابر، یکی از زیباترین و خوش آب و هواترین جنگل های ایران است که در فاصله 45 کیلومتری شمال شرقی شاهرود قرار دارد. این جنگل از جاذبه های فوق العاده گردشگری استان سمنان می باشد و از آنجا که در خیلی از مواقع، فضای این جنگل را پوششی از ابر فرا گرفته، به این نام مشهور شده است. مسیر دسترسی به این جنگل فوق العاده زیبا از دو طریق امکان پذیر می باشد. 1- بعد از بازدید از آرامگاه(بقعه) باشکوه و باصفای شیخ ابوالحسن خرقانی می توانید از جاده کنار آرامگاه به سمت جنگل ابر حرکت کنید، این جاده خاکی و کوتاه تر از مسیر دوم می باشد. 2 - از طریق جاده آسفالته شاهرود - آزادشهر، خودتان را به روستای ابر برسانید و سپس به سمت جنگل ابر حرکت کنید. این جاده آسفالته و طولانی تر از مسیر اول می باشد. اما ذکر چند نکته ضروری می باشد: ابرها اغلب بعدالظهر یعنی دو سه ساعت قبل از غروب به تدریج ظاهر می شوند. اگر از مسیر جاده آزادشهر به سمت جنگل ابر حرکت می کنید، از همان جاده اصلی و قبل از حرکت به سمت خروجی روستای ابر، می توانید وضعیت ابرهای بالای کوه مشرف به روستا را بررسی کنید، اگر اصلا ابری در آسمان بالای روستا و یا ارتفاعات مشرف به روستا وجود نداشت، پس به احتمال زیاد موفق به دیدن ابرها نخواهید شد و بهتر است که بازدیدتان را به روز دیگری موکول کنید. نکته دوم اینکه در ابتدای ورودی جنگل ابر و در کنارکیوسک عوارضی، متاسفانه عده ای سودجو با خودروهای آفرود خود، سعی در این دارند بازدیدکنندگان را متقاعد کنند که با خودروی سواری قادر به رفتن به جنگل ابر نمی باشند تا برای هر بار رفتن و برگشتن به جنگل ابر کرایه ای به مبلغ گزاف 400 هزار تومان(نوروز 1401) از آنها دریافت کنند! مسیر جنگل ابر اغلب خاکی، اما با خودروهای سواری کاملا قابل پیمایش می باشد مگر در مواقعی که چند روز قبل بارندگی وجود داشته باشد که در آن صورت حرکت به سمت این جنگل به سبب گل و لای احتمالی جاده...
