Shur Mast Lake — Attraction in دهستان راستوپی

We had a great night beside the lake (May 26, 2016), I think you should have a tent to sleep there, it's full of insects, snakes and other creatures and millions of frogs sing together at dark... !!! it'r really amazing! I've never had such a experience before. you can walk to the forest and have a boating on the lake but swimming is not recommended in the lake and maybe it's forbidden, however I scared even touch the water while I dive to the water in every trip. The area smells like a swamp, making fire was free around the lake and to stay at night you should just give them an ID document. Drinking water, WC, restaurant and buffet were available. Anyway I prefer to have a great night beside a clean, shiny and safe lake and have a swim frequently...

A very good destination for family and friends! Why you should visit this place: 1- very close to the main road (Firuzkuh road) Not so far from the city of polesefid( Savadkuh) by 20 minutes and to Veresk by 42 minutes. 2- Having enough space for family picnics and for friends 3- having paddle boat to enjoy 4- Covered with snow for many days in winter (see my photos!) and great colorful scenes and their reflections on water in Autumn. 5- Tranquality and silence of the nature (Ducks sounds exempted!)

Why you shouldn't visit this place: 1- There us no enough facility here - no good restaurant for example. 2- This is just a lake surronded by trees and hills- no especial feauture in the site!

دسترسی به دریاچه شورمست بسیار آسان است. هر چند مسیر کمی پر پیچ و خم و شیب دار است ولی بلحاظ نزدیکی به سوادکوه خیلی دور و طاقت فرسا احساس نمی شود و بدین ترتیب این محل را به گزینه ای مناسب برای یک سفر آخر هفته به همراه خانواده و دوستان مبدل کرده؛ محلی که بقدر کافی امن است. فصل مناسب بازدید اواسط پاییز هست بجهت طبیعت رنگارنگ و انعکاس رنگها در آب و امکان استفاده از قایق و سازه کوچک شناور در آب (تصاویر را ببینید) همچنین در بهار نیز باطراوت هست و در زمستان هنگامی که بارش برف دارد برای برف بازی و استفاده از مناظر برفی مناسب هست (تصاویر را ببینید). در صورتی که همان روز بارش نباشد و مدت ۲۴ ساعت از بارش برف یا باران گذشته باشد مسیر معمولا بقدر کافی خوب هست که بتوانید با یک خودروی شاسی کوتاه کم توان به کنار دریاچه برسید، در غیر این صورت برای دسترسی باید از یک خودروی شاسی بلند استفاده کنید. در مسیر تهران به قائمشهر، این محل ۴۲ دقیقه از ورسک و در مسیر قائمشهر به تهران، ۱۸ دقیقه از پل سفید فاصله دارد. بعبارتی از یک مسیر فرعی مابین ورسک و پل سفید قابل دسترس هست! به استثنای زمانهایی که اردک ها سخنرانی می کنند، در باقی اوقات آرامش خوبی در محل وجود دارد! باید بتوانید با صدای اردک ها...

Beautiful, good for sightseeing, but actually different from what seems in the photos and websites. I went there for camping and stay overnight but encountered with a very very crowded place that I couldn't even find a place with more than two meters of space from next tent!! So, turned around and got my plan B. The other thing to know is that they make you pay a 50000 rials bill to enter the area but yoyr receive no service instead. By the way if you're okay with all this, remember to have cash in your pocket cause they do not have pose for you to pay the entrance bill by...
