در سال ۱۳۷۰ شمسی بود که شهرداری اصفهان تصمیم به احداث چنین مجموعه‌ای گرفت. خوشبختانه از همان اواسط دهه ۷۰، این باغ نظر مردم اصفهان و البته گردشگران را جلب کرد. شاید از خود بپرسید  چطور می‌شود که آب‌وهوای خشک اصفهان، مایه اذیت انواع گوناگون پرندگان نمی‌شود؟ در جواب این سوال باید بگویم که این باغ ۵۵ هزار مترمربعی در مجموعه ناژوان قرار دارد و مجموعه ناژوان نیز خود در حاشیه زاینده‌رود واقع شده است. این محدوده، آب‌وهوایی معتدل و مناسب دارد که همین امر، باعث می‌شود این موجودات زیبای خداوند، خشکی آب‌وهوای اصفهان را چندان احساس نکنند.

خوب است بدانید که مجموعه ناژوان، محیطی بسیار زیبا و سرگرم‌کننده است و از گذشته به‌عنوان قطب گردشگری طبیعی اصفهان محسوب می‌شود. اگر می‌خواهید بدانید چه نوع تفریحات دیگری می‌توان در این مجموعه انجام داد، باید به بازدید از باغ پروانه‌ها، باغ خزندگان، دلفیناریوم، آکواریوم، مسیر دوچرخه‌سواری و پیاده‌روی، تله‌سیژ، قایق‌رانی اشاره کنم. پس دستتان در انتخاب فعالیت‌های هیجان‌انگیز و سرگرم‌کننده تا دلتان بخواهد باز است

این قفس‌ها فضایی شبیه گلخانه را ایجاد کرده‌ است و امکاناتی چون دستگاه تهویه، شوفاژ و کولر دارد. این قفسه‌ها برای آن دسته از پرندگان که توانایی زندگی در آب‌وهوای خشک اصفهان را ندارند، مناسب هستند. برای مثال پرندگانی چون مرغ عشق، طوطی و توکان در این قفس‌ها نگهداری می‌شوند. این قفس‌ها مناسب پرندگان شکاری مانند عقاب، جغد، شاهین و کرکس سیاه است. پرندگانی که اگر در فضای باز رها و آزاد باشند، پرندگان دیگر و جوجه‌هایشان را به اصطلاح یک لقمه چپ می‌کنند. چه بسا ممکن است برای امنیت جانی بازدیدکنندگان نیز خطرناک باشند. البته در فضای داخلی قفس‌ها سعی شده تا حد امکان شرایط محیط‌زیست طبیعی‌ این پرندگان مهیا شود. مثلا چند صخره داخل قفس‌ها تعبیه شده است. ازآن‌جایی‌که نسل این پرندگان نادر رو به انقراض است و تقریبا هیچ‌کجا نمی‌توان آن‌ها را دید، بازدید از این باغ می‌تواند فرصت خوبی برای افراد علاقه‌مند به پرندگان باشد.

این فضا برای پرندگانی چون طاووس و قرقاول در نظر گرفته شده است، چراکه خطری برای دیگر پرندگان ندارند و آزادانه می‌توانند در محیط اطراف خود قدم بزنند. فکرش را بکنید! مگر می‌شود رنگین‌کمانِ پرهای زیبای طاووس را در یک بعدازظهر دل‌انگیز دید و سرمست از آن‌ همه طرح و رنگ نشد؟

باغ پرندگان اصفهان چهار برکه دارد. بزرگ‌ترین برکه در مرکز باغ واقع شده است. این برکه‌ها محل زندگی پرندگان آبچر زیبا و البته نادری چون اردک، فلامینگو، پلیکان و قو است که با زیبایی خیره‌کننده خود توجه هر بیننده را جلب می‌کنند. برای پرندگانی که به‌طور طبیعی در مناطق سنگلاخی زندگی می‌کنند، فضاهایی صخره مانند طراحی شده است. برای مثال پرندگانی چون کبک، تیهو، و بلدرچین در این مکان‌ها نگهداری می‌شوند. ۶- بخش‌های پژوهشی این بخش‌ها بیشتر به‌منظور انجام پژوهش‌های علمی و تحقیقاتی احداث شده‌ است. در کل باغ پرندگان علاوه‌بر سرگرمی، جنبه تحقیقاتی و پژوهشی نیز دارد. قسمت‌های مختلف این بخش عبارت است از: بخش تکثیر در این بخش شرایطی برای پرندگان فراهم می‌شود تا عمل تخم‌گذاری و جوجه‌آوری را انجام دهند. در این مکان از جوجه‌ها نیز...
