Ahmad Awa — Attraction in Sitak Subdistrict

This place is busy! That's because the clear, frigid waters are worth your time!

There are many stairs to get to the waterfall, which causes lots of traffic. For me, the slow walk made the stairs much easier.

As you walk up there are many stores, restaurants, and teashops. Come hungry and you can picnic with amazing views.

The falls themselves are hard to enjoy with the vast amounts of people, but be patient. Wear shoes that can get wet and that wont slip off your feet. Slowly climb to the top or find a good spot on the observation deck.

A very beautiful place—when I visited in mid-May, the waterfall was full and spectacular. However, the large number of tourists made it difficult to take good photos. Unfortunately, there was quite a bit of litter along the path and even in the water, suggesting that some visitors still lack environmental awareness. I hope everyone can work together to preserve this...

واااااو 🤩 الشلال 😉 قوة مياه الشلال 💪 الأشجار 🌺 كلها روعة 🌺. مصيف أحمد آوه من أجمل الأماكن السياحية وأبرزها التي زرتها. المحال التجارية ( شي أثري تتخيلها 🥰 ) منتشرة على الطريق المحاذي لحافتي المياه النازلة ،،، تتونس وانت تتمشى وتصور الوادي بين الجبلين والذي يتصف بكثرة اشجار التين والرمان والعنب والبلوط وانواعا اخرى والتي تنمو بشكل طبيعي ، وتسقى من مياه تنبع من عيون في اعلى الجبل على الحدود العراقية الايرانية في اقصى شرق السليمانية لتشكل نهرا صغيرا يمتد الى عمق المدينة في الاسفل. يعيش سكان هذه القرية حياة هادئة بجانب الطبيعة الخلابة وصوت خرير المياه معتمدين على اشجار الفواكه التي تنمو بشكل طبيعي ودون تدخل البشر على طول الطريق المؤدي الى مصيف أحمد آوى وبالأخص اشجار التين المشهورة بنوعيتها الجيدة في تلك المنطقة والتي تعتبر مصدر رزق اهل القرية، 💖💖
