The first time I visited this place thought what a lovely place and the pontoon very special walk and a lovely walk around the wetlands but since then vandles have caused so much damage the pontoon is now closed for walkers but yet people still get on there to fish and in most cases not local and the repairs were being ongoing to the pontoon only to be undone by mindless people and all spares for repairing or replacing ie the floating tanks have gone missing and it may come to pass we ie ballybay may loose this lovely pontoon walk thanks to people making claims for damaged to themselves get a grip you people if you are going to fall do it at home I say take down the fishing sighns and don't let this part of ballybay be taking away from us.
