Very interesting, and highly recommend if, like me, you have only Leaving Cert memories of his poetry. Place brought his poetry to life and I came away with a much better appreciation of the man and his work. The local guide Sean was excellent.

Lovely place, hometown of Patrick Kavanagh- attended the Blindboy event where he interviewed Pat McCabe, very interesting. McNellos pub had a live trad session going.

Well laid out centre and interesting artifacts of the era of Patrick Kavanagh based in Iniskeen. A nice little tea rooms next door too with some tasty bites.
