Burren National Park is one of the great place to visit in County Clare when you have a day out time. Please make sure that you carry enough bottles of water or energy drinks with you if you are going for a long trail to have a smooth journey. You will be having a nice time to breathe very fresh air on the hills with a cool breeze and can enjoy the greenery all around the way. Please follow the pink color arrow marks when you are going for a loop trail walk across Holy Well and take a stick along with you while starting the journey after seeing the map details. Keep your mobile with full charge to capture great pictures and videos during your travel, and wear shoes without fail. Mind your steps while climbing on the rocks ups and down during your journey as a safety precaution for a safer and happy trekking along with your friends and family. It would take minimum two hours and maximum four hours to complete a loop walk, be helpful to carry some food depending on the timing you start your walk. You will get 5G network in most of the places, and 4G in few places and there are some places for a NO network too. So if you have any meetings or need to make any urgent calls, please STOP right at the same place when you see network on your mobile. Helicopter will be flying on the air above the Burren National Park to manage the safety of the park at frequent hours as per my guess. There is a Tea or Coffee shop too to get relaxed after your travel near the loop walk. Please plan your travel after checking the weather conditions to enjoy your time well in Burren National Park. Stay safe and enjoy your walking...

We did the blue trail hike. Pro tip is that you can park down the road about 0.6 miles if you want to shorten the hike a bit. The only thing you’re skipping is the walk down that road. In total that will shorten the hike 1.2 miles (Approx 2 KM). The views are unlike anything else in Ireland. You’ll walk along a lake, through a field filled with goats, and up the side of the rocky burren mountain/hill. The hike isn’t overly strenuous but there are 3-4 little areas where you’ll scramble up around a 10 foot steep incline/decline. I’d recommend proper hiking shoes as some of the rocks you’ll step on are rather pointed and could hurt your feet if you’re wearing joggers/skate shoes. If you have the time, it’s a nice little hike and not too far from cliffs of Moher if you need to get away from the rampant swarms of...

Magnificent scenery. A beautiful place to visit and walk. We did the blue loop walk. It's just short of 8k, up and round Mullaghmore. All routes are very well marked, if you are not sure where to go next just look around more, markers are there! It was a warm cloudy, breezy day. Be warned, it can be very windy up there even though it's not that high. The blue loop ascent is not tough. However walking on the limestone pavement is tricky enough so don't expect a fast pace up or down. If you have them, wear ankle high walking boots. It is doable in normal runners/walking shoes though. Dry enough in summer. There are no toilets or facilities at the cross roads parking. We stopped in Corofin on way and stocked up with snacks in Centra. It's a big shop and has parking. Fab views from the top of Mullaghmore. Well...

After more than 4 km walking through nature only in designated route, it was a challenge! You will definitely have more than 4 km! Before starting your adventure, have a route map -we didn't have it- 🗺 and trekking boots -not the sneakers. No cafe, no mobile and no way 🙈 It is literally a nature park. Follow the signs which are available walk-through. It could be difficult if you want to go back from the same way. The most peaceful part of this adventure was 'Holy Well' which is on the green road. Leave coins at the beginning of the route in Holy Well and take your walking stick. You can return your coin but we left. Cows will accompany in a part of your trip! 🐮 Please save the nature and beautiful flowers.
