Went at sunset and it was very calm. Great place to go for a hike, bird watch, maybe spot a fox or hare if it’s quiet enough for them to come out and you’re lucky. The information boards are located in good locations to paint a picture in your head of what life may have been like there when it was active. You can tell lots of effort went into making this place welcome for wildlife, the nature enjoyer and the...

Absolutely INCREDIBLE.

I’ve visited a lot of ancient sites around Ireland and the information to learn and ACCESSIBLY is fantastic.

A proper car park, with proper trails and benches along the way makes this a great day out.

If you have a side by side buggy you may struggle to get through the wooden styles, though there aren’t...

Worth a visit. Lovely hiking area and you can bring a dog. Only thing still standing are the three major walls but my God poleople moved a lot of rock back in the day to make this. It is impressive for what it is.

Great hiking area with good interpretive signage about the hill fort. Parking is available right at the front leading into the area. Definitely worth a visit!
