I was booked in at Letterkenny and have always wanted to check out this drive along Lough Swilly on the west side. Really beautiful over looking Lough Swilly at view point and looking northerly towards the Atlantic. Continued onto Portsalon and returned the fast route back to Letterkenny

Absolutely stunning place to visit. The view is all over the bay and also the wild Atlantic Way discovery point is there. It could be busy summer time. Please take your litter with you. The place becomes popular, let's keep it as beautiful as we found it 👍

No McDonalds or Burgerking and it was raining. Quite annoyed as it was 30 min drive back to Letterkenny to get a mac and fries. Maybe the Irish Govt should look at setting up a series of chain fast food restaurants in the area looking down from the mountain or a bar where drivers can stop for a few cheeky beers. Also maybe sort out the weather as well, really got soaked. Big fail. 1...
