So we visited Castle Adventure Farm recently after pre-booking it online. Booking is easy and you book a time-slot provided for which you then get 2 hours of time on the farm.
The farm itself is very clean and tidy and all the animals look to be in good health and relatively happy in their enclosures. There is a decent variety of animals.
For our visit the indoor play areas were closed due to COVID-19 as was the barrel train. Masks had to be worn inside the barns.
There is a huge play area with lots of well built wooden play areas like a ship, bulldozer etc. And a small rollercoaster run. There is two large pipe slides and there is a small crazy golf area and also a small zip line.
The best part for my 5 year old was the mini diggers. 2€ for 5 minutes in them. Although they were 4 of them only two was in operation so we had a painful 20 minute wait queueing to get a go.
A small onsite shop and cafe if you get hungry is on site along with some extremely clean toilets.
Would I recommed? Yes it is good to tire out the kids hopefully all the areas and activities can...
Read moreWe would have came to this farm alot over the summer and if anything was on over Halloween and Christmas, but our experience today was shocking. My Autistic child was going on the digger ride (£2 extra) for 5min,My child went to go in and she shouted get in line where there was nobody there at this time? The girl was very snapy with my child as she wasn't getting on fast enough but she should appreciate not every child jumps on strange things they haven't been on before and even more so with a disability, Then she said time is up and that was only 3 minutes I said it can't be its only 3 minutes she said it is, and it was raining very heavily at this point, i said can she not sit in it until the rain goes over, we were talking over the fence under shelter at the new coffee hut, the girl jumped in the other digger and didn't even help my child out are open the gate for her, and she was standing there not knowing what to do getting wet only my husband ran down to help her out.she just rolled her eyes at us. I was discussed in her lazy actions today and definitely...

From a wide range of animals, an indoor soft play area, a massive outdoors play area and a 'barrel train's ride the little ones will have plenty to see and play with. There's even a Veterinarian room for them to play at being a vet compete with white coat and X-rays.
All this means you get great value for money and several hours entertainment.
If you fancy a coffee there's a small cafe as you enter. We didn't go in but I believe they do some food items as well.
At certain times of the year they do special days, for example, we went at Easter for the 'Egg-hunt'. They put on quite the show too, with face painting and an arts & craft section as well.
I would recommend this place to anyone but I would advise you to bring a coat just in case. It is pretty close to the coast and at times even on sunny days there can be quite a...
