The Sanctuary @ IOSAS Centre — Attraction in County Donegal

We Had a great peaceful time in the Sanctuary followed by a lovely affordable meal. I would highly recommend a visit to the organic farm and rehab' centre at Whiteoaks, this it is such a spiritual site. However, I think it's time that at least some of the cottages were brought back into commercial use for visitors and pilgrims. A residentual option would enhance their experience and bring trade to the shop and restaurant as was the original plan. It's a most pleasant and very friendly place to go for a while around the beautiful well kept grounds. You can also dine inside. Food very nice. It's mostly voluntary workers, and they are very hospitable. We visit in our walking group. In a regular basis. Great fish and chips on Fridays and also beautiful dinners on Sunday.
