Came down for the day with the dogs. With the weather on our side I was hoping for a swim. When I got there I needed to use the bathroom facilities to change into my swimwear and found to my horror that they were all locked. Several other people with small children needing the bathroom also turned up and had to find...other arrangements. Although this is a nice clean beach with a very nice coastline I have to admit that the locked bathrooms were disappointing. This is such a small thing to get right so whoever is the bathroom jailer please take the locks off as they're...

Great place to spend with the family. Lots of free parking, driving there is a bit challenging as some sections of the road are 1 car wide but that’s the case in many places in Ireland. Nice sandy beach, rock pools to the right and exploring the beach keeps kids occupied. You can find jelly fish, crabs, muscles, snails, and an abundance of shells for the young kids. There’s a water tap at the parking lot to wash your feet afterward. Sometimes there’s a vendor selling food. Today was the holy crepes mini truck which was great and...

Beautiful beach to take the kids to. Parking and toilet facilities available. Life guards on duty. Great views and excellent place to go for a swim if you're brave enough to venture into the Atlantic waters.

Pebble and sand beach. It differs on parts of the beach. We've found a few small common fossils on the beach as well as black pumice. Excellent for kids with an interest in fossils and...

Only a short drive off the main road to reach a cute Discovery Point on the Wild Atlantic Way. We visited in February, so no lifeguard or ice cream can, but we did get to see a horse going for a swim! Quiet beach, great for a dog walk, worth the short detour.
