This place didn't quite met our expectations having visited few other pet farms/play facilities. The admission price is also quite pricey. There was not much variety of animals to see.
On the day of our visit, the indoor inflatable city was very crowded and there were easily more than 50 kids at one time. We don't think it was safe for kids to play although it was supervised. Older kids ran into our 5 year old and bumped her head and she ended up coming out crying just after 5minutes. It was supposed to be the highlight of the visit for our kids but unfortunately they didn't have a good time there. We only get to spend about 10minutes as it was becoming too overcrowded and not safe for our little kids. Maybe should consider a limit in a number of kids in there at one time during peak times.
In the sand pit, equipments to build sandcastles were provided but it was impossible to build sandcastles as it was dry sand and water was not allowed to be brought in there. Perhaps should dampen a section of the sand pit if water is not allowed.
On the plus point, the facilities are clean and well maintained. Staffs were also friendly.
Overall, it's probably just not for us with small kids on that particular day. Families with older kids might enjoy this place more or during...
Read moreVery reasonable priced, loads of fun for the kids with the massive bouncy castle, a small little bouncing castle area for babies and toddlers, they also had a jungle gym which if the kids wanted to run around and do some obstacle. They had a time frame depending on your time you arrive (eg blue band, 4 - 6 pm) you have 2 hours in them areas to come and go as this gives all the children a fair turn. The outside area and pet farm you can stay for as long as you want. You can bring your own picnic or eat on the premises as they have a little cafe for ice cream and tea/coffee and they have a restaurant then for food. They do parties a min of 5 children and you only pay for the amount of kids that turn up on that day. They are very good with price for parties also. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The little walk around to see all the animal and feed them was fun especially for the small ones. And they also have astro turf pitch, grass pitch and a play ground for the kids to burn off the rest of their steam before going home. We've been here twice and we will be back...
Read moreI love this place! Took my 3 year old daughter there recently and she was begging to go back. Once we got in we took her to the inflatable city first. I was afraid we wouldn't see her again she was having so much fun. An hour into it she came out looking for us so we went to see the animals. They have goats, sheep, donkeys, alpaca, beautiful birds and a little calf. She loved the animals feeding out of her hand. Then we went to the jungle town. She had fun there and we get some chicken nuggets and sausages for her before going back to inflatable city which is her favourite. I would highly recommend this for families with young children. You can bring picnics (healthier food) but you need to bring your own cutlery and napkins etc. Also for the mummies and daddies buy your coffee at the Bewleys counter of the Loughrea service station 6 minutes away (you can use the excuse of buying apples for the donkeys to tell the little ones). You won't regret it. If you are going to use this a couple times a year you should ask about their...
