A wonderful walk in beautiful scenery. The terrain is quite varied - consisting of an old mining track, narrow footpaths and bog track. Some places are quite wet, so proper walking boots are advised. Dress for all weather, as conditions can change due to it's Atlantic coastal location. Map and compass is not required as the route is exceptionally well waymarked. Read moreGorgeous hike - one of our most favourite ones... We were surrounded by tons of Heather (which is nice because because my name is Heather) and the most beautiful rocks. This place must've been a quarry - I kept stopping and admiring the quartz, marble and beautiful stones that had a metallic sheen to them. Couldn't help but bring a few home! We didn't see another soul the whole hike, except several sheep. There's a beautiful view of the water. It was moderately difficult.. The views are stunning. I wore runners, should have taken my hiking boots, you need the extra support and water resistance. Marsh and stoney paths.
