Graune Pet Farm and was extremely disappointed with the experience. Here are the key issues I encountered:
Overpriced: The farm is very expensive, and the overall experience is not worth the money.
Slow Service The food took forever to arrive, which was frustrating.
Low-Quality Food and Coffee: The quality of the food was poor. Any takeaway would be 10 times better. The coffee was particularly bad—it tasted like it was made from powder, not a machine, and there was no sign indicating this. Despite costing only around 10 cents for the powder, they charge €3.50 for a cup. I got a refund for my coffee, but not even an apology was offered.
Undercooked and Unappetizing Food: The food was not cooked properly. The chips, in particular, were disgusting—soggy and tasteless, as if they had been cooked, frozen, and then reheated without any care. They were not seasoned at all.
Unsafe Playground: The playground had some very questionable swings made from old tyres that did not meet any safety standards. Additionally, some cable ties were not clipped properly and could potentially cause serious injury, like taking out an eye.
On the plus side, there are some good activities for kids, but the safety issues overshadow the positives.
Overall, I would not recommend Graune Pet Farm. The high prices and poor quality, along with safety issues, make it a...
Read moreA big Surprise I’m happy to say. I looked at Graune pet farm’s web site and wasn’t looking forward to the visit that my wife promised our 6 year old going by the web page photos. It’s a bit out of the way but worth the journey. It has large parking areas and easy access for those with strollers or wheelchair’s. It was €8 for each adult and €12 for the child but family rates are available. From the get go we got greeted by an adorable puppy in a stable with rabbits and kittens. A walk around the farm and your surrounded by hundreds of chicken loads of goats, lamas, emu and many other farmyard friends. All the animals seemed in good health and happy and their living areas looked clean and tidy all with food and water. The kids have lovely play areas outside including tyre swings and zip lines. Inside the indoor play soft play area is huge and has pool tables and air hockey to kill some time while your little one is on an adventure. It also has a large restaurant area although we didn’t eat here it looked and smelled lovely. It a lovely well run place clean and tidy with friendly staff. The little extras like “walking on water” only cost €3 and was well worth it. At first I was only going to give it four stars but thinking about it I don’t see how they could make it better for what you pay and I would highly recommend a visit. We spent 3 hours here and enjoyed...
Read moreWe visited here last Sunday with my family & my brothers family, this was our first visit to the pet farm, on entering staff very polite & friendly. Kids loved seeing the different animals to them they were happy with the variety, but to be honest not a very wide selection if animals. The place is clean & looks well kept until u reach where they have some ride on tractors & gokarts, firstly they were all broken & none worked much to our kids dissapointed kids, why are they their if all are broken & falling apart. Secondly the ground they are in are full of Stones & very uneven not suitable for yung children at all. Then after that dissapointment my daughter & niece 5 yrs old went on one of the make shift seesaws they have, whilst my daughter was on it for aporox 20 seconds the bit of timber u sit on broke off and hit her on her chin when she fell off & 2 screws sticking out of it. Very Poorly maintained & also no staff around to tell, so my wife walked up to reception to tell staff after about 10 mins a lady came down and asked what happened, she offered them free ice cream after they were finished playing but that never materialised either even though she served us when we bought food. Not a great...
