I visited with 3 adults and 3 children. Mollie Moos was a Nice clean well kept farm, animals looked well cared for and the surrounding play areas, path ways etc are well maintained making for a pleasant and enjoyable day. In fact the place was spotless to give credit where its due. Only draw back was that it is a little small but that said what is there on offer is all good. It Would be nice to see the continuing investment and expansion of this facility as it is a very nice place to visit. First part of the expansion should be more toilets as i only saw 1 male and 1 female toilet and although the place was not too busy on the day i felt that this could be a problem. (maybe there were more indoors that weren't available due to covid19 or i simply didn't spot them around the place).
I read reviews before going as i always do and value for money/too expensive for what you get came up quite a bit, while i can see where the reviewers are coming from as the whole farm is not very big i also felt that the price was very reasonable for what was on offer for the children but prehaps not for the adults who pay the same 9 Euro a head and dont get most of whats on offer for the children, like the feed bag for animals, cant use go karts, play grounds etc. Rather than reducing the adult price and lose much needed income, prehaps a token for a free cup of tea would work allowing the farm to still take in the same funds to run the farm with little to no extra cost (the price of a tea bag can go a long way in that value for money vs cost to supply war) This would make the adult price much better value for money and silence any criticisms to this otherwise lovely experience and reduce any footfall loss of people having second thoughts when reading these reviews as i did initially. That said Im glad we gave it ago as we had a really nice day, so boil the kettle and we will be...
Read moreMollie Moo's is a wee gem of a place; the animals, the facilities, the people, the food, the activities for kids, all surpasses any other pet farm we've visited.
The farm in general is so well looked after; paved pathways throughout, amazing sand pit and playground with mini golf, lovely seating throughout, super area for toddlers with pedal tractors and wee houses to pretend play, an area for older kids to drive go-karts, sensory space, and plenty more. The animals are clearly well looked after and there is a lovely wee pond in the grounds for the ducks.
There's seating indoors and outdoors, so you can bring your own picnic with you or you can get teas, coffes, soft drinks, toasties, cakes and pizzas in the on-site coffee shop. The freshly made pizzas are particularly delicious. 👌
Overall, it's a really lovely place to visit over and over; our wee girl loves it every single time and is always exhausted on the way home after all the activity. We would highly recommend a visit if you...
Read moreWe were recently fortunate to have the opportunity to celebrate our little boys Christening party in Molly Moos.. Everyone knows the stress that is involved when planning any family gathering.. Especially when considering what to do with a group of children of different ages.. We on the other hand, had complete peace of mind, as Linda provided everything our family could ever need to celebrate our little boy.. We had our own private room.. That was fully decorated by Linda.. From the finger food, to the kids meals, the numerous desserts and endless supply of tea, coffee and juice for the kids.. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the most incredible time.. There was so much for the kids to do, mini golf, go karting, the multiple play areas and that’s not forgetting feeding all the wonderful animals too.. The staff even brought the kids over to hold the rabbits and guinea pigs.. We really struggled to get the kids together to go home.. We honestly cannot recommend Molly...
