I must say that this park is an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped foot on its lush green grass, I knew I was in for a treat. The track for running and cycling was top-notch, with a smooth surface and plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. But it wasn't just the exercise opportunities that impressed me - the park was also a feast for the eyes.
Everywhere I looked, there were beautiful flowers of all shapes and colors. It was like walking through a vibrant, living work of art. And the central fountain area was simply stunning. Not only did it provide a refreshing break, but it was also home to some delightful feathered friends. The swans and ducks added a touch of whimsy and joy to the already beautiful setting.
Overall, I would highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a tranquil escape in Dublin. Whether you're a fitness enthusiast, a nature lover, or just someone who enjoys a good stroll, there's something here for everyone. So don't hesitate - make a trip to this park a priority on...

I particularly liked that the parkrun route has been tastefully painted on the paths to guide you when youβre running or allow you to do it on your own whenever you want.
If I had one bit of feedback, there was an awful lot of short mowed grass. The park was quite quiet but with all that grass you could probably have a thousand people having a picnic here all at once! Maybe letting some areas grow out for insects and wildlife would be good.
If youβre reading this, give the parkrun a go! Itβs every Saturday at 9:30am, open to runners and walkers, everyone is really friendly and youβll definitely...

Blackened areas where fires left there mark. And the skeleton s of burnt out motorcycle s and mopeds . The play area all though clean , the Roma gypsies have made it their home. Sleeping on the benches , while their women cooked under cover of the trees. The tolka river as it quietly flows through the park ,feeding the ducks and swans not a fish in sight. I would hate to think what goes on at night here. As you see the empty bottles and cans of alcohol throughout the park. The young trees deliberately broken for the...
