A delightful surprise just off the Ring of Kerry. I took a chance turning off the mai road and was happy to find myself here.
Definitely worthwhile especially in the fine weather.
The drive up is via a single lane road. As long as you take your time you will be fine. Keep your eyes out for oncoming traffic and be ready to move into one of the numerous side areas to pull to one side. There is an etiquette but hand signals out of the window, patience and a friendly smile will go a long way.
There are public conveniences in the carpark. Entry is via a short path and a 1 euro honour system.
