We reached this place quite easily, great parking just beside the hotel - cross the road, carefully, take in the views from Aghadoe view point and then make a left to the castle. A lovely rounds booking, ground well maintained, quite closed in, but worth the visit. Take care at the top of the little staircase, no barrier!

Cool little castle to check out. You can go inside and take some pictures as well. There's some steps inside to take you up to a second level. Use caution as there are no guard rails.

Small round tower/castle located near to beautiful cemetery. Easy to find We were very lucky to have a sunny weather, view was stunning!

The images previously uploaded are actually of Muckross House and Gardens. Parkavonear Castle is an archaeological ruin and does not have any museum or business near it other than Aghadoe Heights Hotel and Spa (which is a great place to stay or to have lunch or dinner). The view of the lakes near this ruin are amazing and well...

I loved this castle. The steps set in the thick walls are accessible. You can climb to get a view of the grounds below. Very well maintained with a board at the entrance by the road giving information on the castle and...
