Killiney Strand

Just the place you would bring you pup for a walk or wish you had a pup to bring :-) Can get crowded sometimes. Parking area limited so need to go early if by car. No bicycle lane and road narrow. Reaching to there not very pleasant on foot if you are coming from Churchroad as there is about 300 meters where the sidewalk is so narrow that you end up walking on the street which to is also bidirectional. Taking a star because of this as besides unsafe is also quite unpleasant especially in Covid circumstances. The beach...

Lovely beach to take a stroll with the dogs or with the kids or just sit on the beach & take it all in, but if your coming make sure you've got water to drink & if the sun is out & the wind is coming from the west this beach is a sun trap, the beach has a lot off smooth round stones mixed with course sand it's a very big beach with parking, but I didn't see any toilets on this beach I'm not sure why really, fantastic view's of the surrounding areas & water was really clear, nothing like a day at the beach to refresh...

Its always amazing whenever we go there. You just need favorable weather and the views would get even more beautiful. Its worth walking by the beach every day.
