This is the safest beach for smaller children as the water is very shallow. The scenery in the surrounding area is absolutely beautiful. Very clean little beach and never overcrowded.

This is a good beach for bathing as the water can warm up on hot days when the tide is out but when the high tide returns then it quickly gets cold. The beach has a gradual slop but sometimes in high tide the water would reach the sand dunes. It no longer has its blue flag and the sand dunes are getting badly eroded. Something in summer they have temporarily Toilets (not disable) but not out of season. Lots of dog walkers come here and horses. There's a height restriction barrer at the entrance to the beach so if you have a high vehicle then it's better to park behind the Marina and walk across the stream. When the tide is out then the stream can disappear, but in high tide it...

A rather scenic beach not far outside of Londonderry City. The marina is a bit of an eyesore with a large and dominating building across the entire length that has only been partly constructed. No public toilets available. The road is in very poor condition, so be careful driving there. A few motorhomes are parked up most times that we have visited, but thankfully its not been ruined by too many of them. It is very popular with...

The sunset is meant to be amazing here as well but we were there earlier in the day. Parking was available but I’m not sure how many spots in total after the 5 at the front as there seemed to be a side road. The backdrop was beautiful! The beach was...
