I live locally and had a last minute decision t view the cliffs as i was driving home. Got as far as the car park. Didn't read the signs to be fair just strolled through as it was late in the evening + there was no one maning the small open gate. Thought you had t pay the €5 fee if you were part of a tour. Then a man (farmer of the land) approached us and said we had t pay the €5 to park. I said I didn't think there was any tour as it seemed no one was around! which is by all accounts an honest mistake. He promptly lost his temper and told us to leave before I got the chance t offer t pay, stating that it was private property! Extremely rude and dismissing. €5 to see a cliff!!! The cliffs on the main beach are free and stunning. Don't be fooled by this tight arsed culchie charging you to park and view a...

Ignore all the negative comments on the reviews. I have travelled all around Ireland and been to Cliffs of Moher 3 times, this experience is not to be missed and is better, try and get there around sunset. For 5 euros what is there to complain about? A lot of signs here with interesting information and the path is very safe. We watched seals swimming in the crystal clear waters, watched the starlings come back to the caves and had a friendly chat with Mike the farmer, no issues. I expect issues arise from people trying not to pat 5 euros? Anyway the pictures that I posted do not do the place any justice you just have to experience it. My partner and I had the place to ourselves which is better than the hordes of people you have to deal with at the overpriced...

The most rude person ever met in Ireland. I don't know if is the owner or the guardian, but on the arrival, the government parking payment was cover and instead, wae write on hand some long information. For enter u should put money in one plastic container without any receive or information. Nobody in the welcome entrance. Than a man come out of a van and pretend to leave the money, for me was not a problem but the rude way he impose himself was too much. Than I decide to leave and in that moment he start to say to me many inappropriate worlds. When I asked him to apologize he intimidate me with his dog a Geeman sheep dog. Worst...

Had just done the Ballybunion Cliff walk, when we chose to visit here (after a recent Google search). What a lovely place to just stroll around, taking in the lovely cliff faces, sea stacks and of course, the absolutely lovely Bart 🐎. Didn't see Mike the landowner when we parked up, but paid our dues (€5 for a car, irrespective of the number occupants) and then started our wander. Lovely place to stroll around, some interesting facts spread around, make sure you stop and read. And don't miss, not that's it's really possible, the delightful Bart. Mind, he has a little taste for handbags 😂

Lovely place with a great view and not many people around. We met Mike on the parking lot and he gave us a lot of information beforehand. The whole walk took a little more than an hour and we had a break in the look out. Make sure you read Mike's Story about his childhood on these meadows and cliffs. When we got back Mike told us about the foxes that life on the cliff and how he caught one once. Lovely owner of the place. I fully recommend the cliffs, it was beautiful.
