I went swimming here on an afternoon in late May, conditions were perfect. The water was a perfect temperature for a light wetsuit. The lake is healthy, with plenty of swans living on the small Crannog in the middle of the lake. The facilities are really good there are changing rooms, toilets, and hand railings to help you walk into the water. There are plenty people here walking, and fishing. It’s a little gem, and well worth veering off the beaten track to spend some time here.

PERFECT. just so relaxing. IT NEEDS A RENOVATE AND GOVT. NEEDS TO LOOK AT AT. but overall its a great park with a short nature walk which is just fantastic.

Great lake to bring kids for a swim as it has a portion where there are barriers to prevent small children from going into deeper waters.
