Disabled parking and beach wheelchair available on request for free. The beach was beautiful, busy but plenty of room as it goes on forever. Lifeguards on duty so was safe for swimming. If you need a supermarket, coffee, chips or pizza (both 😁), buckets and spades or wetsuits etc, all available beside the carpark. Recycling bins beside the toilets. Was very popular with dog owners. We located ourselves right near the water and the girls, both aged 11 were able to have fun with their surfboards and never got out of their depth because there was a sand bank. There is a toilet area in the car park and also an outdoor shower and you can wash the sand off your feet. Lawlor’s shop provides all the food, ice creams, drinks etc and it has another shop which has wetsuits and other items for use on the beach.
