On first visit, four of us came exactly 30 mins before, waited next to reception until nearly the starting time, then asked what is happening. We were told that "our group" (two kids) left moment ago to the changing room, we found them moment later. Lad providing the safety rules, started to do it with the open door, no one could hear anything, until I have closed them. We started raid over 10 mins after the scheduled time. (In fairness they gave us the time we paid for.). Anyway next time we came about 10 mins before the scheduled time and receptionist didn't let us in saying that it's too late. Despite we were driving one hour to get there. OK - rule is the rule. But I do not value places which are strict against customers, but they doesn't respect customers time in exchange. Their choice, Hence the comment. On top of that, they do not say on the webpage, in the pricing, or over the phone if you not ask, that they're joining different groups together, up to 11 people, on so called "national track", when you get there, receptionist is calling it "junior track", and you and your kids, who are experienced, landing up with bunch of sweet cubs, who are trying gokarts for the first time in the life... You have enough of that experience on the public roads :) and this isn't what you expect of the gokarts. Also their karts, are rubbish. Overally this place...
Read moreI made a booking 10 days prior, booking was on the 15th of April 4:30pm, I booked myself and 2 kids, both 14 years old. The booking was made, myself on the big track ,adult and junior track. When I was waiting to go on the adult track I was inform I am with the kids. The thing was made me angry, from the first moment we started to discuss what really happened ,immediately I was the onw who made the booking wrong. All I felt I was not able to do that booking, which I did twice before, not even an apologies from the manager or the person whom was handling the situation. Than I was told if I would go with kids we would be the only on the track as 3 of us .Just walked and look ,there was 10 other kids on the track. There was an other misinformation. No one was taking ownership with the issue, the manager solution was putting all on me, make sure I feel small and frankly stupid. The only solution was from the manager is " if you booking next time" generating the mistake was made by me, very poor...
Read moreI didn't go karting. But I did have issues with my ride on the way home from Cork Airport. Wheels were complaining via the screen that something had gone awry.
Pulled in at Kartworld and explained my concern. OMG ! WHAT A PIT CREW THEY HAVE! After my intial enquriry several young lads approached the motor and offered knowledge, experience, skills and assistance to remedy the fault the Volvo was complaining about.
10 minutes later, all sorted. These fellas could easily run a pit at Brands.
Was relieved to have met a confident and worthy team that appeared to be having the time of their lives and happy to help.
They deffo earned a healthy tip.
The place looked impressive, though I wasn't there for karting. This place could teach Rye House a few lessons.
I had to get a note changed in their hospitality and catering area, again, impressive... this place could easily stage a wedding, let alone a...
