If you are on the Titanic trail or learning about the Lusitania this is a must visit stop. There’s a car park across the road for about 15 cars or so. It will only take you about 15/20 mins for a look around. There’s a few mass graves to the victims of the Lusitania disaster as well as graves of soldiers both British and Irish.

The Clonmel Cemetery (Old Church Cemetery) holds so much history of Ireland in one location. From the boxer Jack Doyle to the mass graves of the Lusitania. This cemetery is part of the Titanic Trail. The ground is mostly small rock with no stairs, so it's easy to walk. Please be respectful and don't walk over the graves.

A wonderful cemetery with many war graves as well as others. If you don't know where it is you'll struggle to find it but, it's just past the Aldi and Lidl superstores on the road out of Cobh. Its worth spending an hour or so wandering about.

The final resting place of over 11,000 souls spanning over 3 centuries, this graveyard is probably this most cosmopolitan in Ireland with over 30 nationalities represented. Victims of the Lusitania, the boxer and entertainer Jack Doyle, the surgeon appointed to Napoleon on St. Helena, a countess and a renowned poet lie side by side with countless victims of TB and many...
