No more! I have been there with three of my friends. We booked our tickets online before, which are way too expensive. A price, that could be worth it for such a park, however we as group got in such huge trouble this day, despite three of us paid the full amount of 35€. I hat a student card, so I was happy, that this worked indeed. First it was fine. A very friendly Irish man introduces us together as bigger group at the beginning. We could start climbing the first parkour after that. It worked out, but we as boys in an age of 17 need more than that. Which the park offers indeed, but my text is not ending yet. Because than we went to the next zipline-parkour. From the orange to the next level: white. Higher and bigger. So we started. However, as me, as last one of our grub attended to climb up the leather stopped me one manager of the park. We got into an argument about: where is the responsibility person over 18 years of age who takes care of us??? No one was over 18. We all are in an age of just 17. This was a problem for the park-team. I had to come down the first steps and the other three guys were supposed to break up the route. What followed: We had to ring one of our parents to come. My host mum was there to sign us in at the beginning, but she had to go to work. She, however, was able to come back from Cork to us within 30 Minutes. But the park management here is totally strict. No climbing anymore until she is right here and takes care of all of us!!! We had to wait. And they demanded, that we put off our safety belts. And they expected to receive the phone number of my host mum to ring her again, to give her all the fault, why she isn't here. Anyway, we had to wait, lost actually one hour of three hours climbing. We hat only done the first low level parkour so far. After my host mum arrived, she apologized, we had to sign in from the very beginning, had to get in our belts again and 45 minutes before our time runs out we started the white Zip-line, as the second one for us. Because we were strictly not supposed to skip one parkour! Due long waiting in a line of other participants did we lose here time as well. But that's normal in these kinds of parks. Just it didn't make it easier for us, because we actually don't wanted to do the white one. But the rule of no skipping is strict here. Actually we felt like to jump up to the blue line. So we tried to do fast, to be able getting the blue parkour too. Indeed, we got done this line five minutes before the time runs out. So... Other people from a part of the group who started at the same time as we today had also five minutes left. We saw, how they started the blue line also as last one. We wanted to do so as well. However one park manager stopped us again, speaking to the boss, if he is supposed to let us pass and go up there the blue zip line. And then... in our last few minutes we had to go to the reception and first after expiring of our time came the boss out of his shed. My host mother spoke erroneously to him. Apologized again, asking not to punish us now after all what had happen. But he answered, "No, we can not got. Time is over now." Well, he forbid us to do the big blue line which we couldn't do, due all the complications before, because our time run out now. I mean, the other group was allowed to go up there. Very sad and disappointed we put off our safety belts. There ended this park trip for us. 35€ wasted to be honest. We might have had so much fun and I would accept it, if they just would let us climbing longer due the complications. That is not fair! It wasn't as friendly as I would expect such a business in a country...

Review: Zipit Forest Adventures
If you're craving a heart-racing yet family-friendly outdoor activity, Zipit is a must-visit. The parks—located in Dublin (Tibradden Wood), Lough Key (Roscommon), Farran Park (Cork), and the newly opened Djouce Park (Wicklow)—offer a perfect mix of adrenaline and immersive nature.
What stands out right away is the safety-first approach—ERCA-certified instructors, thorough safety briefings, and courses equipped with secure belay systems all ensure peace of mind.
The circuit structure is brilliantly tiered for all ages and confidence levels:
Green (1–2 m): For ages 7–8—ideal for beginners and young children
Orange (up to 4 m): For ages 9+—a gentle confidence-builder
White (up to 10 m): Slightly more challenging—also for ages 9+
Blue (up to 15 m): For those 12+—packed with zip lines and longer paths
Red (15–20 m): For ages 15+—a serious thrill requiring strength and nerve
Most sessions last about 3 hours, including briefing time.
Additional features like swinging logs, Tarzan swings, climbing walls, floating platforms, rope bridges, and the standalone Zip Trail (12 ziplines spanning 500 m, 10 m up) make the experience even richer.
Families and groups rave about it:
“Highly recommended for a brilliant day out! … no arguments, everyone was kept entertained and challenged!” “Where to start… I wasn’t expecting almost 4.5 hrs… what a varied course.”

Read moreIn response to the manager, your charging 7-8 year olds €19 for 15 minutes of entertainment...... and I paid adult price so I could stay with him for 25min of fun.... I even paid for the discounted family ticket today, which was €61 I think, when individual tickets would have been €57, thanks for over charging, so €61 for 15minutes of fun. Why even let in 7 and 8 year old???? Thanks for the dissapointments, all I asked for at the end was a voucher for my son for the 4 combined hours we didn't use and was told no, didn't ask for a refund, didn't cause any fuss, just can't believe you charge €61 for 15minutes of activities and expect people to be happy with this.
Dont bring 7-8 year olds, they charge you full price, but your only allowed use the beginners course, it's takes 15min..... they charge you for 3 hours, and all you can do is 15min of activity, we did it twice, but my sons disappointment was obvious, we asked staff for a voucher so I could bring my son back and we were told no, just seems very dishonest to charge 60€ and be done so fast, to make it worse the beginners course isn't worth doing twice, my son flew through it the first time, again very disappointing for...
