An excellent park with a bunch of facilities for younger people like myself. Has an astro turf for Football and GAA, an international sized cricket pitch with nets on the side, tennis courts and a basketball hoop. The park is lit up at night so that's a nice touch. Could use some more benches and water fountains since it is quite big. A few more bins near the astro would be cool as I've seen a lot of litter left over. The clubhouse should open soon with a cafΓ© inside.
I hope that the astro is free of cost and open to everyone to use on weekends and maybe have a booking system on weekdays on peak hours. I think that's quite fair. The park is quite easy to reach, 3 buses drop you within 5 minutes of the park, L51/52 and C2. There is a train station about a 10 minutes from the park. Multiple shops nearby and The Crossings is also 10 minutes from the park. There is parking provided and disability...
