Kilcash Castle — Attraction in The Borough District of Clonmel

A lovely castle when you can get access. I made my way around it and took photos from all angles, the day of my visit was beautiful and sunny. I hope if you visit you are blessed as I was. Parking is outside and there is a beautiful old church ruin just 500mt down...

There’s no talk of Cill Chais or its household

And its bell will be struck no more.

That dwelling where lived the good lady

Most honoured and joyous of women

Earls made their way over wave there

And the sweet Mass...

It is still closed to the public but you can visit the nearby church and graveyard. Hope to come back and see it when it has been restored...
