We decided to visit this place on 29th Oct, 2 adults 3 kids. First shock 12 EUR per person even for 6 and 8 year old! No family ticket option. Under 2 are free of charge, which worked for our youngest one. Changing cubicles small and dark, no light coming in at all. Who had such a brilliant idea to make them so dark that you actually can't see anything in your bag?! Tried to shower before getting into the pool, 8 years old got almost scalded with such a hot water coming out, 6 years old couldn't get under as water was freezing cold! Now, they were standing couple of feet from each other. It almost felt like one shower head was mounted on hot water pipe and next shower head on cold one. Maybe idea is to jump from one shower to another as a warm up before the main event? Anyway, one step in the pool and we find looking at each other with a shock. Is the water really that cold or was it the boiling shower earlier that made us actually loose the sense of touch? We walked warily and shivering through the pool actually avoiding to get splashed with the freezing water and got to the baby section in the corner. Water freezing in there too. Back to the customer desk, asked if any other small pool with warm water to actually warm up? Unfortunately no luck, told by staff that I'm not the first complaining regarding the temperature and somehow they have no idea why it was so cold. I asked for a full refund as really couldn't stay in there any longer, the cold was unbelievable. My sons were actually very happy to leave, where usually would need to physically drag them out of the pool. In fairness I got my full money back but the whole afternoon was a write off. You spend so much time getting your kids ready before you go, time in the car and then just such a disbelief. Sad to say but this place needs a serious shake up. Went to many places, but that was a real shock. Definitely not going back and wouldnt recommend it to anyone. Staff nice and polite but obviously can't do anything else to rectify the problem other than apologise and refund you. So much potential in this place but such a...
Read morekids were looking forward to a day in funtasia all week. so went to funtasia this morning full of excitement but never ever again will we step foot in the place. went up to the desk to pay for a family of 4 for swimming and staff member said the pool is closed for renovation work to be carried out until June 25th. i checked the website the night before to make sure it was opened before travelling an hour and half only to be disappointed. there was nothing on website or facebook to let people know pool was closed. then we went over to the children climbing frames in the play center and staff member said my 10 year old daughter is too tall so wouldn't allow her in and my son didn't want to go in without his sister. Next we paid for bowling only to be given a lane that wasn't working so the fella moved us to a new lane that kept on jamming all the while our time was been lost on the timer. decided to put kids on bumping cars that cost 2.50 euro per child. you card only pay for rides by purchasing a theme park card. went to buy a card from machine with 5 euro credit to pay two kids on bumping cars but machine didn't give me out card or receipt but surely took the money from my debit card. i told the staff member about this and he said it happens all the time. he went to a different machine to get me the theme park card and he wanted to see proof on my bank account that i really did pay 5 euro to purchase card. he showed me a balance of 4 euro before he handed me the new card and he said the i need to top card up again with another 1 euro because the card cost 1 euro to buy. then we go downstairs to order food from the cafe only to be greeted by very rude staff. the girl took our food order which took 45 minutes to come to our table. staff in the cafe have no hair nets, hats or gloves. food absolutely terrible. raw chips and found hairs in food. my advice is if you want an enjoyable day out with your children go to Dublin zoo or Clara Lara. complete and utter money racket and disappointing day with for the kids. i really should have heeded the...
Read moreMy kids have wanted to go to the waterpark for ages, the water is good plenty of slides etc, was disappointing that it doesn't have a pool that you can swim about in to go with it, that said that's where thd good ends make sure to book online and 24 hours in advance or get your house remortgaged because this place as having to pay nearly 20 euros for a 4 year old is ridiculous as you can't buy a family ticket if paying at the door which the website DOESN'T make you aware of and DOESN'T make you aware that all tickets are one price and one price only at nearly 20 euros per person regardless of ege, when complaining to the stuff especially the female manager they couldn't care if it cost you 100 euros per person most unhelpful people I have ever met, oh and make sure to feed your kids stupid before you go into the water slide area as once your in there you can NOT go out and come back in even though your vastly overpriced tickets allows you to stay all day From the moment you walk into the it is all designed to get as much money out of you as possible especially if your there with kids must arcade rides are 3 euros for a few minutes ago then you collect points to get prizes only thing you need about 10, 000 points just to get some cheap ass Chinese piece of cheap In my opinion unless you like spending lot's of good money on crap and remortgageing your house to spend the day in this place I wouldn't bother everything is set up so that you have to keep paying nothing is included like for example you pay 20 euros to get into the waterpark slides area you can have your picture taken as you go down the big slides for 20 euro entered fee you would think they would include in that ridiculous price one photo no no no they r between 20-30 euros on top of the 20 euros you pay to get into place I would NOT recommend this place to anyone no even my worst enemy Do your self a favour and a small fortune and don't...
