I have holidayed in this locality the last two years and each time spent a lot of time at this beach. It is a fantastic little spot.
There are many beautiful beaches in Wexford such as Curracloe or Morriscastle beach that are well worth the visit. However, though nowhere as big as some beaches, Cullenstown is an ideal beach to go with your family to swim and have fun in the sunshine.
Though it is small, you can drive and park right beside the beach for free. Furthermore, there is an outdoor washing facility as well as picnic area and toilets provided which is ideal. There is no shop on the beach but there is a local shop about a two minute drive from the beach.
My family and I loved this place. We spent many an afternoon here having fun and enjoying the sunshine. I highly recommend you check it out.
There are the occasional dog walkers on the beach but they tend to be few and appear to clean up after their animals. I personally found the beach very clean and well kept.
