A lovely location to visit and just take a break, The grounds are not always kept tidy and the grass is uncut but just around the small section surrounding the castle is always well looked after. Some times its just nice to walk further away from the castle to get a different view and of course the lakes are just behind it, cheers

Starlight, I guess. Hard to know where to start on this one. I have some walks in the area recorded on trekireland.com Ballylacken granite village is historic and worth a visit to see the stone houses

A nice stop for photos and a sign giving some information about Tower houses. If you walk into the field behind the Tower House you come to the river Liffey and the scenery is beautiful.
