Lovely walk, but please be aware anyone with a dog when you get up to the farmers lane about 2km into the treck, the farmer has poison on the lane. We carried our dog 1km to get to the other side of the lane. Anyone with a big dog would be in trouble here. After that lane you go back into a woods area and the lake is not far from here but also note when you get to the lake the blue trail signs completely disappear unless your tracking yourself on a phone you will be lost. The trial needs updating a work around the farmers lane is needed badly and more signs are needed two. The actual blue trail is 8km not 6km as suggested...
