We had stopped at Cahir, on our way down to Youghal. After a fascinating tour of the castle and a lovely cup of tea at the most charming cafe, we were convinced to drive the Vee Pass. We were a little hesitant, as we were first time Ireland-drivers, and the road seemed windy and very small. And it was. But oh my goodness. So worth it!
