Kilfane Glen and Waterfall in County Kilkenny is a hidden gem that feels like stepping back into a romantic, fairytale landscape. The 18th-century gardens are lush, peaceful, and beautifully preserved, with winding woodland paths leading to the stunning 30-foot waterfall that cascades into a clear pool below. It’s an ideal spot for a quiet stroll, a picnic, or simply soaking in the natural beauty. The place has a timeless charm—rustic bridges, mossy stones, and wild greenery make it feel untouched and magical. Perfect for nature lovers, history enthusiasts, or anyone looking for a...

This place is a hidden gem! It's perfect for a day trip, with a stunning small waterfall and plenty of scenic walking trails to immerse yourself in nature. The spacious picnic area, complete with numerous benches, is ideal for relaxation. You can easily explore the entire area within 90 minutes, but you'll have plenty of time to unwind, as it stays open until 6 pm. Note that it's only open during July and August, so plan accordingly! The entry fee is reasonable, at 7€ for adults and 20€ for families. We absolutely loved it and highly...

A Hidden Gem in Co. Kilkenny! Kilfane Glen is absolutely beautiful—a peaceful garden with a magical atmosphere. The waterfall is stunning and makes a perfect backdrop for a picnic. The woodland walks are full of charm, with mossy paths, stone bridges, and little surprises around every corner. The thatched cottage adds a lovely historic touch and is a great spot to relax. It’s quiet, natural, and feels like stepping into another time. Highly recommended for nature lovers or anyone looking to slow down and unwind. You will need to...

Love this place. We found it by accident. We saw a sign for a waterfall and that was it we were on our way. Toilets at the house, Car parking €20 for a family of 3, I thought was good compared to a lot of the attractions around. I was say disabled access isn't really possible. All of was awesome the walks through the garden and wood. Little secret places popping up. And the waterfall. Loved it. Toilets and drinks available at the house near the waterfall.
