A fantastic place to bring the children (and the adults who act like them). Every year brings something newly built, so the place is ever changing. The Train. Everybody loves the train. It goes on the path through the woods and round the bog, taking all the sights. In peak season you get one ticket, one go. Off peak no-one seems to mind you having a few trips. I'm adding some photos of the craftsmanship and heritage that makes this place special. It can be seen in every part of Lullymore and is what makes it magical for kids. The Train The Petting Farm Crazy Golf The Fairy Fort The Outdoor Playground The Boardwalks Through The Bog The Various Cottages/Ancient Dwellings Coming: New Train On Tracks Through Bog (Looks like it will cost extra to go on this one though) Bad points: The indoor play area is a bit dangerous and could do with better supervision on the stairs when kids are pushing their way to the top. Beware this one if the kids are v small as the bigger kids are full of excitement and charging their way to the top. Crowds are getting bigger in Peak Season and even though Lullymore is a huge place, it needs to expand a bit more to accommodate(though, you can always just head outside for a beautiful walk). I haven't seen them, but I'm told that the Halloween and Christmas events there are incredible. When I do get to visit, I'll put more pics up here👍

We visited the facility during our vacation. The area with the exhibition, petting zoo, and mini-golf course is more interesting for visitors with children or school groups. Unfortunately, the park train shown on the map appears to have been defunct for some time. The tracks are all overgrown. We were impressed by the Peatland and Biodiversity Trail areas. The grounds are spacious and designed with a lot of dedication and passion. Truly impressive. Unfortunately, we didn't know that during the pre-summer holidays, the entire facility is open only to school groups from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and all other visitors are only admitted from 2 p.m. onward. However, the admission price remains the same despite the significantly reduced opening hours.

We had a lovely sunny afternoon here. The park is so big. We took the train ride around the bog, which was lovely. We visited the little old cottages which had lots of historical and educational information in the with the audio guides. These were great. The playground is a big one too, with crazy golf, slides, swings, zipwires, climbing frames etc, loads of fun to be had. And there was also a lovely indoor play area, and football pitch. There was a fairy trail and clues also which my gang Loved, and the fairy village is do well done. Definitely recommend it as a great place to spend a family day and use up lots of energy. Also a lovely cafe too.

This review is long overdue! We held our 3-year-old’s birthday party at Lullymore in February with about 20 children (aged 3 to 6) and a similar number of adults—and we had a fantastic experience.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, starting with the friendly gentleman at the gate who guided us to the right place. Unlike many play centres where you're rushed in and out, there was no strict time slot here. The kids had plenty of time to enjoy the activity area both before and after the food was served, which made for a much more relaxed and enjoyable day.

It was a showery afternoon, but the indoor space was excellent—and spacious. There was plenty of room for the children to play without it ever feeling cramped or overwhelmingly noisy like some play centres can be. Between showers, the kids also loved visiting the animals outside.

What really stood out—for us and many of our guests—was the food. The kids were served proper chicken goujons made from real chicken (not the usual processed kind), and the portion sizes were perfect, with no waste. For the adults, we ordered a platter of sandwiches and finger food with tea and coffee. The sandwiches were freshly made to order and honestly as good as anything you'd get in a top hotel. The catering staff were incredibly obliging and welcoming.

The train ride around the site was a real highlight—several of the older kids even said it was the best birthday party they’d ever been to. With both parents and kids leaving the table with full bellies, everyone happily returned to the play area for another hour or two before heading home.

We’ll...

We spent about 3 hours here on a Saturday in mid-April. It was not too busy and had a nice mix of activities for all ages. The boardwalk over the bog was quite nice and hand interesting, interactive signs placed along the path. The train (on wheels, not rails) was operating on an hourly schedule and too us for a 10-12 minute tour around the property. It was a windy day, so we were grateful for the windows and doors on two of the three cars to stay warmer

The indoor playground was really fun for the kids we were with, from ages 4-12. There are stairs built into various sectiions of the play structure, so parents and kids can climb up easily. Up top, there is a little room with air hockey table. There are also a couple rope bridges, a mini indoor zipline and various slides, ball pits, and other featured. They also have free WiFi, a large heat lamp, and lots of benches for parents and/or kids who need to take breaks.

There are educational exhibits throughout the property, telling the history of the area, information on Irish life in various time periods, and mini replicas of several ancient Celtic sites.

My only complaint would b that the mini golf is getting s bit worn down in some places. The course is fun and the ideas/designs of the holes are fun. While we were there, two holes were closed for repairs and refurbishment, so it seems they are aware of the situation and getting things fixed.

It is a fun and educational experience for kids and...
