Beautiful walk with the calmest birds Ive ever come across. I love the progressive nature of this walk and the sustainable water project - local land owners and the community working together, we can only hope that as the years go on this walk is expanded, both in length and in breath across the valley.
The walk itself is flat and well maintained, you could do it it light enough shoes and not have any bother. The first half from Dunhill town to the castle is the best with the most nature the second half is a little more boring but the payoff when you reach the beach makes it worth it.
I cant rate this walk high enough and I encourage more people to go there and check it out. Pro tip -if you go up to the castle you can go down the hill on the other side and not have to...

There is a lovely little place at the Dunhill side of the walk with loads of benches where you can have a sit and get a cup of tae. You are surrounded by nature on the walk, so its a great place to take the small tots and get them off them computer games and phones! We saw a family of swans, and four dotey fluffy cygnets!
