Crough Wood — Attraction in The Municipal District of Comeragh

The forest is a natural continuation along the Mahon river, replacing the mountainous valley with the Mahon waterfall. A wonderful walk on a spring day among the blossoms. Great walk along river, good pathway and very beautiful. Opposite Crough cafe (which is a great place to get something to eat/drink) is a good sized car park and there is an entrance to the wood walk just next to Mahon Bridge. Takes 1-2hours depending on how fast you walk and often you stop to take photos or relax by the river!...
