Kilmacthomas Viaduct — Attraction in The Municipal District of Comeragh

This is my favorite spot, must admit... I Live in Ballinroad, Dungarvan and have a wealth of stunning countryside to see and visit on my doorstep... But The viaduct over the River Mahon, is just picture perfect and my kids love the place... Seating areas for picnics and Main Street Kilmacthomas has all the best food, pubs and the Deli in Centra do the best sandwiches and ice cream... Aww even the chemist Kirwans have all the plasters and lollipops for the kids if they have grazed knee to make it special, the staff are just so...

The Coach house and pigeon loft was a lovely distraction away from Covid 19.The food was very tasty and plenty. Staff were so pleasant and spent time with you discussing the day with you and the fact that they actually got an appointment for Penneys.. Lol. viaduct is unreal but check out the park thats underneath it.easy to get to as u turn off for it heading towards the viaduct.park the car and walk down into it.there was an old mill there but converted in to apartments.the walk will bring u rite under the viaduct and back around.lovely river running underneath it and through the park.plenty of benches.good place for a picnic on a good...
