I'm saddened to have to write this review. The location deserves a much higher rating than 3 stars but our enjoyment was somewhat tarnished by the state the flat grassy area beside the river at the base of the waterfall was left in by a large group celebrating Eid (yes, we did witness this). While some attempts appear to have been made to clean up, the area was strewn with fruit and vegetable peelings and a very large mound of a leftover spiced rice dish was dumped on the grass only a metre from the river. There was the remains of black sacks filled with paper plates, cups, plastic bottles and food which someone had tried to burn in a campfire.... All dumped in the edge of the river. My daughter and I gathered up as much as we could in a large plastic carrier bag and brought it home with us. What a shame people cannot respect our wild...
