Two trails I always take the loop as its much better views from the top ...

Drive up to the top carpark past the first car park up that extremely steep hill and take your hike from the gate and follow that fence up another steep hill..boots a must poles definitely be beneficial..stunning hike as always ..

Second trail is a 20min walk from the first carpark to the bottom of the falls..

Magic Road is on the drive into the mahon falls ...rock on the leftside of the road either just after or before that...

This is a old fairy tale, if you park your car, on a certain part of the road, it will actually go backwards, now, I've done this twice, I've put my car in neutral, handbrake off and I've gone rolling back up the hill, but on this road is also mahon falls, which is absolutely beautiful, if you are into hill walking then this is the...

What a special place! We wild camped in the RV at the top of the mountain. Woke up to loads of sheep and a beautiful waterfall. We didn’t have time to test any of the magical things folks are talking about, but there’s enough magic in this place without...

Fantastic place. Went up to the Mahon Falls with the campervan. Couple places you can stay overnight off grid. We stopped right at the top of the hill for the night and played a tune for Jack, whose memorial bench was next to us. Amazing view and quiet night.

Fantastic place. Went up to the Mahon Falls with the campervan. Couple places you can stay overnight off grid. We stopped right at the top of the hill for the night and played a tune for Jack, whose memorial bench was next to us. Amazing view and quiet night.
