Youghal Clock Gate Tower — Attraction in The Municipal District of East Cork

Myself and my parents booked a 50 min tour online for today. Dylan our tour guide arrived early, unlocked the Clock Tour and we had our own private tour. Dylan was brilliant. He gave us an excellent history of the Clock Tour and Youghal. We didn't have a dull moment. Very enjoyable tour and such an interesting place. Great views from the top and lovely displays on each floor. We highly recommend this tour to young and old and it is well worth the modest entrance fee. We just happened to be driving by Youghal driving back to Dublin early in the morning on a Sunday. Thought we would stop in for a quick breakfast met some wonderful ladies when we were walking the pier, they invited us to a little restaurant right beside the tower. Went a few weeks back with my parents and partner, it was a fantastic experience. Our guide was delightful and was passionate about the site. Would recommend if you're in the area. We used to have a caravan in Youghal and we always wanted to get into the clocktower. It's a shame that the surrounding town centre is quite derelict.
