Long queue, not many animals, both indoor and outdoor play areas for children. Picnic benches are available also, coffee shop and restaurant on site. Massive queues here, too. I'm not sure about a bathroom inside restaurant , the bathroom outside only had two toilets in the ladies, so I'm queuing here too. I'm not sure if it was because it was Easter Sunday that the place was packed, hence queues everywhere, or it's just always like this. There was also a puppet/magic show on for children. However, our children could not see a thing, so we left that. Also worth mentioning, there was a person dressed up in a white bunny rabbit custom that the children loved going over to. Giving that it was Easter and the hundreds possibly thousands of people in Glenroe farm, it would have been nice to see more than one character dressed up and mingling around the farm. I do not think it was great...
Read moreThe maze at Glenroe Farm was easily the highlight of my visit today. What truly made it unforgettable was a chance encounter inside the maze with a young family. Their little girl completely stole the show—such a real character! She marched right up, full of animated hand gestures and determined steps, stressing out (in the cutest way) because they just couldn’t find the location of a particular pig in the treasure hunt among the 10 pigs to find. Her innocence and purity were so genuine and captivating.
Glenroe Farm offers an abundance of activities and beautiful animals, plus hidden fairy gardens and a fantastic maze. With both indoor and outdoor playgrounds, there’s always something to do, no matter the weather. It’s these heartwarming moments and the variety of things to explore that truly make it the best attraction—an experience I’ll remember for...
Read moreThis place is a great day out, my kids are 1 & 2 years old and this is their favourite place to go, definitely reccomend highly, you get to pet the smaller animals and the cafe is very reasonable so no need to bring packed lunch, but lots of picnic tables surrounding play areas so you can if you want to. We've been at least 10 times this year and they never tire of it as the play areas are fantastic, they have a loyalty card but don't do annual pass. Early is always better for us with nap time and always so easy to get about with double buggy. Owners and staff are so nice, you can see John has been up since Dawn with the animals as this is still a working farm but he always has a smile and happy to have the Chat,...
