Possibly the worst let down! This is not a petting farm or family day out by any means! In total we spent 35minutes here (would have been 20 but we stopped in a shed to avoid the rain). 2adults and 1child is €21, so adults are same price as kids? The amazing hay mazes are a few small bales lined up in a shed, took our girl less then a minute to navigate as they were so small. The sand pits are also in a shed and just dry sand that you can't make anything with. The tractors to play on are only suitable for small children so any child over 5years would struggle. The "petting farm" was a disgrace! An incredibly sad puppy who was on a rope to a plastic cone and didn't even budge because he was so depressed. Three rabbits that are for viewing, not touching (try explain that to a child). A white goat that seem happy enough to be making his way into a unsecured fuse board in his pen!! A few bored cows that don't look like they've ever seen grass... All these animals kept in a shed. Very sad sight! The playgrounds were nice, open and had some benches for picnics though. However nothing more special then the average local playground, still not €7 each worthy. The horse&carriage and tractor&barrel rides are seperate cost and weren't running when we got there so once again very disappointing. I would not recommend a visit here to anyone except a local animal welfare officer to check if the goat has electrocuted...

Great day here today with wife, 4 y.o. and 2 y.o. Huge car park, great access, clean spacious toilets and lots to do. Sandpits, playgrounds, ride on tractors, football goals, basketball hoop, tractor trailer rides and horse and cart rides. Plus farm animals seem happy and healthy and well cared for - Pony, donkeys, sheep's, geese and cattle. Large paddocks with lots of grass for grazing and access to fresh water.

The horse drawn cart was pulled by a well able gorgeous 6 year old called Goldie, who had access to water after each tour and was in shaded area between rides. No more than 4 per cart so not huge pressure on the horse, which is unlike other similar attractions. €2.50 a person for the horse drawn cart and tractor drawn ride, so not unreasonable.

On site coffee shop serving tea coffee scones or chocolate/crisps with large indoor seating area and picnic tables outside aswell. 5 or 6 jungle gyms for kids to play on and plenty of swings too, plus play area with another jungle gym and timber train and play village. Will definitely be returning, do recommend bringing a decent lunch. The session is 3 hours which is plenty of time which...

I'm really sorry to give this farm 1 star but this is my true opinion. We had a few days in Dublin with our grandson (6) and we read the website and thought this would be a great stop over for him on the way home. The website looked great. We booked 4 tickets 28 euros which to some people is nothing but to other people it's alot. To be honest it's not worth the money. The 1st shed has sand and a bucket the 2nd shed has tyres and toy tractors 3rd shed is for under 2 then you get the coffee shop. I want to be honest the coffee is lovely but again costs 2 euro 50 each. Then you get to the play area where the horse and cart is and also the tractor ride. This is not included but the website would suggest it is. How can you turn round and tell a child they can't go because you pay more it 2 euro 50 each for each ride which last 1 minute and goes the same route. So we paid 48 euros for a trip to the local park for which would have...

Visited Red Mountain Farm with my sister and 2 & a half year old niece and my parents, so one child, 4 adults. Well, we ALL had such a great time. We arrived just as it opened at 1pm and stayed till 4.30pm. It was a typical Irish Sunday, so it was raining... on and off. The great thing is that there are things to do inside for the kids... a maze, slides, climbing thingy, pedal tractors..... bunnies to pet, funny little goats that are so cute. There is a small shop where you can get tea, coffee, soft drinks, ice cream, sweets... and a large picnic area where we had a packed lunch that we brought ourselves. Then we went on a short jaunt around the fields in the horse-drawn wagon... like something straight from the wild west. My niece was thrilled and we all left very tired and happy.
