Easter at New Grange Farm is a delightful experience, filled with a medley of activities that cater to all ages. From the moment you step foot onto the farm, the vibrant atmosphere and warm hospitality envelop you. The highlight of the day for many visitors is the sheep race, where adorable woolly competitors dash eagerly towards the finish line, eliciting laughter and cheers from the crowd.

Although the coloring competition caught us off guard, with crayons that left much to be desired, the spirit of creativity prevailed as families enthusiastically joined in the fun. The racing cart track proved to be a hit, offering thrills and excitement as participants zipped around the course, their laughter blending harmoniously with the sounds of the countryside.

Navigating the straw maze was a joyous adventure, with twists and turns keeping us on our toes as we worked together to find our way out. The opportunity to interact with the friendly chickens and partake in feeding them added a charmingly rustic touch to the day.

Blessed with beautiful weather, our Easter excursion to New Grange Farm was a picture-perfect affair, creating cherished memories that will be treasured for years to come. Whether it was the laughter of children, the camaraderie of families, or the simple joys of being immersed in nature, every moment spent on the farm was imbued with a sense of...

Spent the late afternoon here with wife and 2 girls, 4 and 2. Had a great time from as soon as we arrived. Such an amazing place for interaction with animals. Today alone we got to pet horse, cattle, rabbits, dog, lambs (lots of lambs), calves, donkeys and kids. There was also the added bonus of the Highland cattle in the rear paddocks which were beautiful and majestic as expected. Plenty of feeding opportunities too with giving lambs milk, feeding ducks, feeding hens and chickens and of course giving lots of grass to the kids and cattle. Enclosures are spacious enough for animals to comfortably move around and aren't over crowded. All animals are in good healthy condition and well looked after which is more than can be said for a few other places we visited. Lots for kids to do otherwise, sand play area, tunnel play area and a large area dedicated to water play. Ride on tractors and go karts too to keep everyone entertained. Wandered through the straw maze too which is good fun. We spent 2 and half hours there and could have stayed longer only they were nearly closed. Lovely scenic drive up too with views all across the Boyne valley. Outdoor picnic area too is well stocked with picnic benches so plenty space for families too. Coffee shop on site which we didn't use but have in the past and coffee was...

So my son was attending July provisions as he has additional needs. His teacher invited me to go along too with another class mate. The weather was amazing and it was just so nice not having to wear the mask all day because mostly everything was outdoors. We got to feed the sheep, goats, Hans etc, stroke the puppies, horse, cows, sheep, donkeys, etc. My son and his classmate loved the haybale maze, brilliantly thought out as me and the teacher had to find the kids. The kids loved the go carts too. The tunnels the kids get into and get rolled around on the grass, the laughter was lovely to hear. Two other kids asked would I push their tunnel too as I didn't see their parents around. The staff were very friendly, the place was nice and clean too. I was wondering though why the puppies didn't have any toys in their pen? As they were crying for attention when we went in and when the boys went into the pen to stroke them, they ended up pulling shoe laces open

We were there for 4 hours and brought our own lunch and sat outside to each at the separate picnic area because it was such a lovely day out. I've definitely told my son that we could go back again as luckily we only live about 25 minutes away in the car. It was a great day with some lovely...

Newgrange was a great day out for my son (2 ½) and Niece (2). They were delighted to get to see all the farm animals, including Highland cows, horses, donkeys, chickens, hens. They were also able to give the ducks the supplied bread to eat. Outside, there is a big sand play area with lots of toys to use and a big water tray area that has boats and ducks floating through it. Inside the farm yard there is an area with 30 ride on tractors of different sizes and they had a maze made out of bales of hay. There were lots of school tours on while we were there but they were well timed and split out so we didn't find it crowded. They got a ride in a trailer pulled by a tractor which may have been an extra for them. When the bell rings you can go to the farm yard and the kids got to bottle feed the lambs, hold a chick, rabbit and kitten ☺️ They have a nice cafe on site with a limited menu. On a nice day you certainly have plenty to do.
