This is a lovely spot for a ramble. Any time I visit it is always clean and litter free which is great given many areas around canals in Ireland can often be litter spots. I'm led to believe it is a great coarse angling spot. I may try soon. It would be great to see a few boats and barges moored here. Hopefully with the continued great work of locals; boats will become more frequent. Overall, this is a really nice peaceful spot to spend time by the water. Lovely to ramble up the various locks...

A beautiful place to visit on a sunny day. There is place to sit. The walk beside the river is beautiful. There is swan and ducks in the river. Just be careful if you come with kids as there is no fence on the sides of the river. I wish it is...
