Poulanassy Waterfall is a hidden gem that captures the raw beauty of nature in a serene and picturesque setting. My visit to this enchanting waterfall left me in awe of its natural splendour.

Nestled in the lush woodlands, it's a tranquil escape that offers a perfect blend of scenic beauty and tranquillity. The sound of cascading water combined with the fresh air creates a peaceful ambience, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers and those seeking a quiet retreat.

The well-maintained walking trails leading to the waterfall provide a leisurely stroll through the captivating Irish countryside. The journey to the waterfall is as delightful as the destination itself, with glimpses of flora and fauna along the way.

The accessibility and thoughtful design of the site make it a family-friendly destination. Whether you're an avid hiker or just looking for a peaceful place to unwind, this waterfall offers a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

I highly recommend it for its tranquillity, scenic surroundings, and the opportunity to connect with nature in a truly enchanting setting. It's a gem that invites you to pause, appreciate, and savour the wonders of...

An absolutely gorgeous waterfall that is easy to access and has free parking. It’s about a 5 minute walk down the trail. We accidentally came across this spot, loved it so much we went back to our Airbnb to get swim clothes, spent the day there swimming and jumping off the cliff. The water is as cold as you would expect, but clean as can be. If people would pick up their left behind clothes, this spot would...

We stopped here on our drive from Cork to County Wicklow as a midway point. I had a beautiful swim and we had our lunch on the rocks.

This spot it incredible. It was very quiet and I didn't really want to write a review as I'm sure the locals don't want it advertised!

So, with that in mind... don't go, it's horrible 😆

There is a car park. No facilities, not even a rubbish bin, so bear...

Very beautiful location. Peaceful at any time of year. After rain in winter it's a torrent and in summer it makes a great bathing pool. Has gotten busier over the years but is still a beauty sport with natural charm. People dive from the top, but be warned I have seen ppl been taken out with injured ankles. I *think* they didn't clear the edge of the waterfall enough.

A nice and tranquil little waterfall in a small Irish rainforest valley. There is a parking lot on the main road and a trail leads down to the waterfall. There are information boards there that describe all the local wildlife. It's a very pleasant place to visit. There are small rapids at the top of the Falls, and at the bottom of the Falls there is a plunge pool.
