Amazing View for sure 👌 Things to remember: 1) Get your own water 2) Get your own food 3) Come prepared to walk as much as you can 4) The more you walk the more you can explore 5) No shops or washrooms near by incase of emergency 6) Driving routes are bit tough & very narrow so please make sure you have really good driving experience while coming in your own car 7) Camping is strictly not allowed here 8) waterfalls are really ☮️ peaceful and relaxing if you want to stay for longer times 9) Best time to visit is during Morning, Afternoon and Evening 10) Avoid coming on night's, not safe because of lack of lighting

This is a lovely spot in the heart of Wicklow Mountains. You can cycle from Green Cafe Bar, or run all the beautiful uphill as well. Definitely you can drive if you are not an active person. Lovely spot to be on a Sunday morning. Fresh air, beautiful landscapes, the crystal river as well. About the waterfall, is magistic!!! When you are on the top you can see how big and beautiful is. Be very careful if you go to close to the end of the road. The sides of the mountains are very slippery. Highly recommended 👍👍👍

You park in the Glenmacnass Waterfall car park and walk down. Beautiful little trails along the upper waterfall. As others state the waterfall is on private property and you can enter at your own risk. Overall really beautiful. The roads to get here are tight in some areas so definitely plan accordingly if you're coming up later in the day. We came on a slightly overcast day in march, it was really windy so plan for jacket and hat especially in the winter/spring months.

Absolutely amazing place to see and visit. From the scenic and winding route from Dublin to the waterfall through the Wicklow mountains to the waterfall itself is an exciting journey. The landscape around the waterfall and hiking trails are just as majestic. Whether you live in Wicklow, Dublin or anywhere else it’s well worth visiting and experiencing the Glenmacnass Waterfall. Free parking is also available.
